Future Plans
M.A.P.S - 2011

M.A.P.S started in 2006, and is now entering its fifth year. This is a very exciting period, with lots of changes in the community, and I would like to develop new projects in more venues.

Future Plans

·         The development of partnerships, new centres and management.

·         To set up a new activity session from January 2011 at Parkwood Youth Centre, Deanwood Drive, ME8 9PN.

·         To move the activities into new areas, including extending the Wednesday Canterbury Session so that it lasts all day, including a lunch hour.

·         To set up new Sessions in other areas. If anyone is interested or has any suggestions please enquire for more information.

·         M.A.P.S. saw its first apprentice start in March 2010 under the Future Jobs Fund.  It is great to be able to help young adults develop their skills and confidence which will help them find a job in the future.

Expansion - New Activity Session
M.A.P.S. aims to open a new Activity Session in the Dover/Deal area in April 2011.
